* Avoid being in light. The harmone called MELATONIN that helps to regulate your sleep - wake cycle. Avoid to be brighten screens before your bedtime. 

* Focus on your diet. Avoid taking big meals at night.

* Newborns(0-3months)- 14-17 hours 

* Infants(4-11months)- 12-15hours

* Toddlers (1-2years)- 11-14 hours 

* Preschoolers (3-4 years) - 10-13 hours 

* School age (5-12years) - 9-11 hours 

* Teenager (13-17years) - 8-10 hours 

* Adults (18-64 years )- 7-9 hours 

* Older adults (65& above) - 7-8 hours. 

In 2015, after a two years of study, THE NATIONAL SLEEP FOUNDATION in US announced this recommendations on sleeping. 


3. Disorders:

Up-to 90% of adults with depression faces sleep difficulties.

Humans may suffer due to various types of disorders like dyssomnias such as insomnia, hypersomnia, narcolepsy and sleep apnea, Parasomnias such as sleep walking etc... .

* Don't keep your room temperature too hot, keep it in cool temperature.

* Take some poppy seeds and add it in milk before your sleep. It will make you to sleep well.
