 Before getting into the topic, our responsibility is to wish all teachers a very "Happy teacher's day ". And pray for your teachers to achieve a lot in their teaching profession to the extend. Teaching is a profession where no selfishness can be spotted. Every human will have at least one teacher in their life. Teachers day is highly connected with Dr. Sarvepalli radhakrishan's birthday. So, here we are going to discover more about Dr. Radhakrishan and let's honour this day. Let's get started! 


SARVEPALLI RADHAKRISHNAN :

Dr. Radhakrishan was born on September 5,1888. He was born in the Andhra Pradesh, tiruthani ,he was a child of poor Brahmin family. Dr. Radhakrishan was a bright student and he completed his studies by scholarships. He was the second president of India and first vice president of the country.  Teacher's day is a day where the students make their teachers to feel proud and it was celebrated all over the country at different at different dates. World teacher's day is celebrated on October 5 ,but in India Dr. Radhakrishan's birthday is declared as teacher's day.  We all that Dr.Radhakrishan's birthday is celebrated as teacher's day. The following lines may make you clear about the link between Dr. Radhakrishan and teacher's day. Dr. Radhakrishan was a philosopher ,scholar and most specifically he is a professor . He was a philosophy professor on madras presidency college, university of Mysore, university of Calcutta and university of Oxford. At the  event of his appointment as a second president of India in 1963, his students and friends planned to celebrate his birthday. But, Dr. Radhakrishan noted that "Instead of celebrating my birthday, you can celebrate this day Sep 5 as teacher's day and that would make me proud enough ". And, hence the September 5 is celebrated as teacher's day. Dr. Radhakrishan was a Bharat ratna awardee  in 1954 and he wrote 16 books totally. Out of 16 books, most of books are related to hindu philosophies and was nominated for Nobel Prize and Nobel peace prize many times. Finally he was died in April 16, 1975 . This day is to honour our beloved teachers and to  celebrate Dr. Radhakrishan's birthday. Teachers are those who mold their students as achievers. Our mind will make us to think " why teachers are scolding and punishing us " . But at some point of our life everyone may realise the teacher's true blessings. So,  this is the correct day to realise our teacher's power and I wish that you all should wish your beloved teachers on this prosperous day.
